On 4 June 2025, the International Conference on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus for a Low-Carbon Economy in Europe & Beyond will be held in Brussels as an official EU Green Week Partner Event.

📌 Taking place at the IHECS Building (formerly BluePoint), the conference — organized by NexusNet – will convene experts from academia, industry, and policy to explore integrated approaches to sustainability and resilience through Nexus thinking and is supported, among others, by the Innovation and Technology Transfer Unit and the Entrepreneurship Center – One Planet Thessaly.

The Conference seeks to synthesize the knowledge created through NexusNet and foster
dialogue among scientists, policymakers, practitioners, young researchers and innovators
to further enhance and apply the Nexus approach.

Highlights include:
🔹 Keynote addresses on the EU Green Deal & Nexus implementation
🔹 Expert roundtables and thematic sessions from modelling to policy
🔹 Interactive poster session and online panel on urban resilience & circular economy
🔹 A Call for Action and presentation of the NexusNet Manifesto
