


The University of Thessaly, in collaboration with the organization “AWomanCanBe.org,” successfully organized an educational event aimed at women entrepreneurs or those aspiring to engage in the agrifood sector.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the University of Thessaly, in collaboration with Professor Chrysi Laspidou—who serves as the Vice-Rector for Innovation, Internationalization, Collaborations, and Digital Governance, as well as the Head of the One Planet Thessaly unit—extended an invitation to female faculty members to respond to the inquiry:
“Why is it important to empower women at the University of Thessaly?”
Important Distinction for the Artificial Intelligence, Computing Systems, and Technological Applications Laboratory (ACTA Lab) and its Director, Professor Elpiniki Papageorgiou of the University of Thessaly, at the AI & Data Awards 2025 powered by UBITECH.
The Innovent Forum 2025 successfully concluded on February 14–15 at the JOIST Innovation Park in Larissa, attracting participation from 133 organizations both domestically and internationally.
